There I'd knock and tell the Angels, How much I miss your loving smile, And how lonely I have been without you, And could I visit for a while. I'd say: "I won`t outstay my welcome, If I could spend some time with you, Just holding hands the way we used to, And spend a pleasant hour or two." If I could see your face once more, and feel the comfort of your touch, If I could have the chance to tell you, that I still love you very much. If I could hold you for a moment, and look into those loving eyes, I'd return to earth and never question, the where's and who's. Or our goodbyes.
